Social Ministry
Social Ministry is primarily concerned with inviting and equipping the congregation to put their faith into action through service to others locally and globally. Social ministry begins by studying our call to act on behalf of others and the current needs of our community and world. Next, social ministry involves the many actions that we take to serve others in their various needs with God’s love and care. And social ministry finally challenges us to speak on behalf of the poor and needy in order to bring change to systems that encourage injustice in our society and world.
Social Ministry contact is Kim Ulrich.
Our Saviour Lutheran Church Social Ministry committee is an active participant in the Partnership of Community Resources.
