Worship Team
Highlight (and plan for) worship in the Lutheran catholic tradition,
as the center of our lives

Support the pastor in planning and executing the worship services

Provide a sanctuary environment consistent with the church calendar and supportive of Christian worship

Lead the congregation in musical worship
-
Review the annual budget requests and forward a recommended team budget to council for inclusion in the congregations annual budget
-
Equip congregational members for their leadership and service in worship (assistants, ushers, greeters, acolytes)

Educate the congregation and pass along information to the congregation regarding the style and pattern of our worship services
-
Provide, enhance, and energize the worship experience
-
Sensitivity in our activities to the diverse backgrounds and traditions of the congregation members
Provide opportunities for service to congregation members

Welcome participants to worship

Ensure participants have needed worship materials and assistance (seating, audio, visual, etc.)
Through the budget
process, obtain the necessary resources to perform the group's
tasks, and to manage entrusted resources wisely
-
Faithfully carry out our particular area of service, so that a meaningful worship experience is possible for all those who attend worship
The Worship team is organized into 11 task
